When three different drivers share the eSprinter, the optional memory seats make it convenient for all three. Each setting activates different, customized memories for the driver and front passenger’s seat positions. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer memory seats.
The eSprinter’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The BrightDrop’s power windows’ switches have to be held the entire time to close them fully.
The eSprinter’s standard power window controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The BrightDrop’s available power window controls are down in the center of the dashboard, away from the windows and mixed with controls for unrelated features.
If the windows are left open on the eSprinter the driver can close them all from a distance using the remote. On a hot day the driver can also lower the windows the same way. The driver of the BrightDrop can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.
The eSprinter’s optional power passenger’s side sliding door makes it much easier to load and unload kids and cargo. One touch opens the door, before you even get to the van. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer a power rear door.
To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the eSprinter offers an optional rear wiper. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the eSprinter offers optional cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer cornering lights.
The eSprinter’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The BrightDrop’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.
The eSprinter’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The BrightDrop’s power mirror controls are on the dash where they are possibly hidden by the steering wheel and are awkward to manipulate.
Both the Mercedes eSprinter and Chevrolet BrightDrop offer exterior mirrors that can be folded to provide convenience. The eSprinter offers optional power folding mirrors, which allow for easy, one-touch folding or unfolding at the driver’s discretion. This provides added convenience when maneuvering or parking, as well as when walking past the parked vehicle. In comparison, the BrightDrop’s foldable mirrors are manual, requiring the driver to get out and physically fold them once parked and unfold them before getting in.
The eSprinter has a standard center folding armrest for the driver and front passenger. A center armrest helps combat driver fatigue. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer a front seat center armrest.
To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Mercedes eSprinter offers an optional wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The BrightDrop doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
